The reconstruction of Beirut was probably the single largest
urban renovation project on earth. The city of Beirut was
destroyed five times and recreated itself every time. Ten years
ago, there was a dream, and now we are starting to see the dream happening!
All the infrastructures have been redone. Today, it takes only 10min from
the airport to downtown. It is great to walk in the street of Beirut and
see people from all the classes and religious backgrounds co-existing.
It is the best environment to celebrate life! The current challenge is
to transform the perception of people and make them comfortable again
coming to Beirut...
